Dawnell McIntosh

DNP, FNP-C

Dawnell completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa in May of 2017, and completed her Undergraduate Bachelor degree in the Science of Nursing at St. Ambrose University, in May of 2014. Prior to completing her Doctorate degree, Dawnell worked 23 years as a registered nurse in the specialty of Interventional Cardiology and Cardiovascular, Medical Surgical Intensive Care Nursing which gave her "hands-on" experience with various types of mechanical ventilation; including CPAP, BiPAP and ASV ventilation. Upon graduating with her Doctorate degree in 2017, Dawnell worked for five years with Dr. Mahadevia, specializing in Sleep Medicine; treating patients with sleep breathing disorders and other sleep disturbances. Dawnell also worked at the University of Iowa as a Nurse Practitioner in the Heart and Vascular Center in the Electrophysiology section caring for patients with irregular heart rhythms and implantable devices to treat cardiac arrhythmias, and utilized her sleep background skills, screening patients for obstructive sleep apnea in the atrial fibrillation clinic. Dawnell is an active member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN). Dawnell enjoys seeing positive changes in patients' lives through innovative medicine and collaborating with her patients to achieve their highest level of wellness through health education. In her spare time, Dawnell enjoys long distance cycling, playing cards and board games, gardening, traveling, spending times with friends and family and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.

Niki Schneekloth RPSGT

Office Administrator

Niki graduated from Scott Community College in 2001 with an Associates of Applied Sciences degree in Electroneurodiagnostics and is a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist/Registered Sleep Technologist. Niki has 24 years of sleep specialty knowledge that includes: sleep test set up, clinic management skills, CPAP supply and equipment set up, supply logistics, insurance credentialing, billing and personalized patient service skills. Previously, Niki worked at Mississippi Valley Sleep Disorder Center, managing the sleep lab and sleep clinic, and completing administrative duties. Niki is an expert at cost saving utilization and delivering top-notch customer service. Niki takes pride in going above and beyond to help patients with healthcare questions and needs; doing whatever possible to help make each patient's experience educational and enjoyable. Niki believes in building long lasting and trusting relationships with patients and takes the time to listen and understand each patient's individual healthcare needs. In her spare time, Niki enjoys traveling, and spending time with family. Sleep Innovations is happy to have Niki Schneekloth as part of our healthcare team!

Shamara Quinn

Administrative Assistant

Shamara is new to the healthcare work force and is excited to be a part of helping patients with their healthcare needs. Shamara is very knowledgeable and has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Shamara is personally looking forward to being the friendly, smiling face our patients will encounter at Sleep Innovations. Shamara graduated from Scott Community College in 2025 with a degree in Culinary Baking, and she owns and operates a small bakery business, Shamara's Sugar Lab, located in the Quad Cities. Shamara has a background in childhood education and development, and possesses a broad range of communication, interpersonal and caregiving skills across age groups. Shamara shares her love for baking with the children she teaches, and cares for by giving them an immersive, sensory,"hands on" experience by utilizing baking materials to teach academic and life skills, such as math (measurement/fractions), science (chemical reactions/melting), literacy (reading recipes), art (through decorating and creating), sequencing, and enhancing fine motor skills through stirring, pouring and decorating. In her spare time Shamara enjoys fishing, journaling, photography, caring for others in need, decorating, creating cozy, welcoming dwellings and spending time with family. Welcome, Shamara Quinn! Faith Pinault

Receptionist

Faith comes to Sleep Innovations with 20 plus years of experience in training program management, readiness program management and a high level of interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, interact and work with large groups of individuals. Prior to coming to Sleep Innovations, Faith worked for the Federal Government as an Emergency Management Specialist with the US Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, Emergency management Division. During her employment with the Corps of Engineers, Faith was deployed to multiple states to include Puerto Rico to help with disaster management of floods and hurricanes. Faith has always enjoyed caring for individuals in times of need and utilized her skills seeking to promote human welfare. In her spare time, Faith loves to gather with her large family for meals and laughter, enjoys cooking, painting and gardening.
